Wateq’s Clack WS1.25 simplex water softeners are best suited to domestic applications where the property is a little larger and requires a higher peak flow rate. This would be small hotels or accommodations housing more than 6 people. The WS1.25” valve is capable of a max flow rate of 7.7m³/hr and should be used on applications where soft water is not required 24 hours a day. As this utilises a single high-quality vessel and premium softener resin. Untreated hard water will pass to service when the system goes into regeneration, this will occur overnight. The system will still allow untreated water to pass, so there is no chance of not having access to water. Although suited to larger domestic properties, Clack WS1.25 water softener units are also suitable for smaller residential properties as well as commercial and industrial applications.

Our meter controlled system will also save on salt usage, allowing the valve to calculate the optimal time to regenerate, and therefore not unnecessarily regenerating and wasting salt.

We can tailor the regeneration process so that this can occur during low periods of water usage, this ensures that there is never an interruption to the supply of water. These systems are ideal for situations that do not require soft water 24/7. Ideally water usage per day should be between 12m³ – 33m³ for this system to be most effective.
