MIXED BED RESINS
Resinex™ MX-11 – Mixed Bed Ion Exchange Resin.
Mixed bed resin is used to mostly to polish water and remove the last remaining minerals in the water to give the purest water possible. It contains both Cation and Anion resins, giving it its name, mixed Bed Resin. This make up also it to trap most minerals and lower water to below 5 microsiemens.
The high purity the version of resin, the lower the amount of microsiemens can pass through.
We would not normally specify using just Mixed bed resin to lower the total count of microsiemens in our water, we would usually specify something to help the removal of Minerals and salts first, as the media has limited capacity for removal and is not able to be regenerated.
Please see our selection of Reverse Osmosis units for more comprehensive mineral removal.
