arsenic reduction media

Our arsenic reduction media uses granular ferric hydroxide. It is an absorbent media that removes hazardous substances from water selectively but sustains the natural content of minerals and trace elements. The media will also remove some copper, zinc and lead making it perfect for drinking water applications. We recommend many backwashes before commissioning as the media gives off a bright red residue when first soaked.
